#Help4TN Month
Now more than ever, Tennesseans need assistance with civil legal issues, and the Tennessee Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission is kicking off its annual Help4TNMonth celebration on March 23, 2024.
For 2024, the Access to Justice Commission is focusing on four different legal issues that impact Tennesseans.
Wills and estate planning
Expungement, rights restoration, and re-entry
Civil legal help for individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders
Consumer legal issues (credit card debt, medical debt, etc.)
Beginning each week in April, the Access to Justice Commission and its partners will share information and resources on these legal issues online. There will also be education events and legal advice clinics throughout Help4TNMonth.
Help4TNMonth is an annual public awareness celebration to highlight the need for free and reduced fee legal services in Tennessee and spotlight the organizations that provide these services throughout the year.

The primary goal of the public awareness campaign is to bring attention to the on-going need for free and low cost civil legal services in Tennessee and highlight the groups that provide these services to disadvantaged Tennesseans. This initiative is a joint effort by the Tennessee Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission, the Administrative Office of the Courts, Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services, and the Tennessee Bar Association.
