University of Tennessee Winston College of Law: Alternative Winter Break

Last week, the Access to Justice team welcomed three law students from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law who joined us as part of their Alternative Winter Break. During their time with us, the students contributed meaningful research and support to several ongoing projects.

Their work included researching how other states promote and support their Emeritus Attorney Rule, with a focus on identifying resources, outreach strategies, and best practices for engaging emeritus attorneys. They also explored how artificial intelligence is being discussed and used within the legal field, reviewing bar journal articles, website content, and other publications, particularly researching ways AI can be utilized by or benefit the public.

In addition, the students provided a fresh perspective on our website, offering thoughtful feedback and serving as a valuable second set of eyes. We are grateful for their time, insight, and commitment to advancing access to justice, and we appreciate UTK Winston College of Law’s continued partnership.
